Your own little studio apartment in Madrid, will definitely repeat!
The room was perfect, well situated to the metro and therefore easy to get to places like Gran Via and Sol, check in was at a hotel on the high street parallel to the one the apartments were on (no more than 2 minutes away) so very easy to get to. The beds were comfortable and the room despite having direct access to the busy street outside was nice and quiet. There were several supermarkets in the proximities making it easy to cook your own meals. The lad at reception was really friendly and helped us solve an incident we had would definitely repeat when we are next in Madrid.
I really needed a broom and a small electric oven! Even though the cleaning of the facility is done at the end of your stay by cleaners I did find myself on several occasions just needing to sweep the odd crumbs up after breakfast/Dinner, cooking was quite limited as there was only a hob and microwave making those with dietary needs difficult to cater to and there was definitely a lack of cutlery/plates and bowls. There were two incidents with the guests in the adjoining room (which was completely out of the hotels power and no fault on their behalf) one of these was that at 01:00 in the morning they were trying to force the adjoining door open (which was quite scary especially for me and my daughter) I feel that the door should be marked or have a sign so that others don't try to do the same!
